Hawaiian BBQ Pineapple Cheeseburger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned)

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

  • 4 burger buns

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion (optional)

  • Butter or oil, for grilling


Instructions

  • In a bowl, season ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Form into 4 burger patties.

  • Grill patties over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.

  • During the last minute of grilling, top each patty with cheddar cheese and let it melt.

  • Grill pineapple rings for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly charred.

  • Toast burger buns on the grill or in a skillet.

  • Assemble burgers: place lettuce and tomato on the bottom bun (if using), then add the burger patty, grilled pineapple ring, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and red onion.

 

  • Top with the bun and enjoy the tropical flavor explosion!
